• Get your softest, most kissable lips ever

Want to be the world's most amazing kisser? Or would you settle for being just a good kisser? Either way, you need a set of soft, kissable lips to do that! No great kiss is delivered with dry, chapped lips. All the passion in the world won't make up for lips rougher than a square of sandpaper.

It's easy to do. First, smooth away any dry, flaky bits by gently scrubbing lip skin with wash towel, exfoliant or toothbrush.

Next, be sure to always have a lip balm or moisturizing lip gloss on hand – in your purse, at your desk, in your pocket, on your nightstand. Everywhere! This way there's a constant source of moisture for lips. It's also useful to dab on a small amount to give lips just the right amount of slip right before the big moment.

However, don't use a heavy hand when applying any lip products if you're looking to lock lips. Gloopy, thick product on your lips is a major turn off – no one wants to eat a pound of lip product when s/he goes in for a kiss! Keep it light. The same goes for lip care with heavy colour, sparkles or a sticky texture. Save the seriously bright lipsticks for a night on which you aren't looking to end with a passionate goodbye kiss or your date will leave looking as if he had been smooching a clown. We love statement lips but they're best saved for kiss-free occasions.

And keep hydrated from the inside out! Lips dry out incredibly fast when you're dehydrated so stay one step ahead in the game and make sure to up your intake of hydrating drinks (e.g. waster) while limiting, as much as you can, dehydrating drinks with alcohol and caffeine. Plus, bad breathe is more prevalent when dehydrated with a dry mouth – no good kiss ever comes with bad breath

Lastly, just relax! Stiff lips aren't fun to kiss. Relaxed, well cared for lips are crucial if you want a memorable kiss.

Now that your lips are in perfect shape for a serious smooch, take these suggestions into consideration to become an even better kisser
